What is SAN?

Social Art Network is a UK-based community of artists committed to building agency for the field of art and social practice. We are a UK-wide artist-led initiative developed to support creative professionals working with and dedicated to community-led projects.

What is the Social Art Summit?

The Social Art Summit is a biannual gathering for artists from around the country to come together to share practice, showcase work, and explore what it means to be making art through social engagement in our moment. Artists, activists, community groups, curators, students, academics, funders, and sectors working in the social realm are invited to join the conversation through a series of events.

Who is the summit for?

The summit is aimed at artists, activists, community groups, curators, students, academics, funders, and wider sectors working in the social realm but anyone is welcome to join the conversation.

How can I get involved?
